Ecoplant on a sustainable mission
Sustainability starts with education and training. This is something we do throughout our lives and encompasses much more than just technical solutions. Think about how we take care of our health through sport, and how we build mutual connectedness by communicating with each other honestly and respectfully. Ecoplant is proud to contribute to this; we believe in a better society on a clean planet. Together with the different generations, we want to contribute to a sustainable journey.
Ecoplant considers learning and collaboration to be of great value: from primary school pupils who are introduced to technology to vocational, higher professional and university students who actively contribute ideas about sustainable innovations and help to bring them to a successful realization.
Green Skills, important for the future
The world urgently needs technicians with green skills. Sustainability and green energy are only becoming more important. That is why Ecoplant wants to start early to get young people involved in technology. With our sustainable, accessible teaching program, students learn everything about the energy transition. This appealing program starts with education and training: by getting children and young people enthusiastic about technology at an early age, everyone becomes involved in the major changes that are necessary for a cleaner planet.
Ecoplant and the countries around us
The shortage of technical workers has become a global problem. Unfortunately, due to various causes, there is less interest in a career in technology. This is of course very unfortunate and unjustified, because job security and helping to create a cleaner planet are obviously very important. That is precisely why Ecoplant is so suitable as a learning tool. Visible innovative sustainability and the Ecoplant student program are now being rolled out in more than 30 countries.
Through our international network, we connect schools, exchange data and research, and collaborate on solar energy projects. We also offer an international internship platform and work placements in our Ecoplant clubhouses around the world. In this way, we create opportunities for young people to gain experience in the energy transition, both locally and internationally.
Discover STEP with Abel & Lena
The comic video by Abel & Lena makes renewable energy fun and easy to understand. With humor and clear examples, a complex topic becomes accessible to everyone. Because the video has been translated into many languages and is used internationally, you can find inspiration anywhere in the world and discover how renewable energy is truly for everyone.
The Ecoplant solution
The Ecoplant is a highly visible, innovative, independently operating energy factory. With its sun-tracking solar panels, the device follows the sun every day, from east to west. The device is not only equipped with solar panels; the compact column also contains an inverter, safe batteries, and connections for charging cars and bicycles. The Ecoplant stands for beautiful energy!
The Ecoplant can be placed anywhere: on business parks, in gardens, at schools, or at events. No complicated installation required, just set it up and you’re done! The energy generated and stored can be used immediately for:
- Safely charging electric bicycles in the schoolyard
- Charging phones and computers
- Storing or feeding back energy
- Providing camera surveillance and lighting
- A wonderful educational tool to test and evaluate annually
- A sustainable eye-catcher that makes sustainable intentions visible
